Custom Software & Platform Engineering is KitelyTech's ground-up application, platform, and systems development service.
KitelyTech's foundation is custom software and mobile development: building applications from the ground up, across frameworks and platforms, and understanding exactly how they connect. That's still what this category is: web applications, mobile apps, ERPs, commerce platforms, and the design work behind all of it, on the same foundation the company started with, long before AI was part of the conversation.
A project that spans a mobile app, a legacy system already in place, an AI integration, and a cloud platform doesn't require separate vendors coordinating around each other; one team already understands how every layer works, because that's where KitelyTech started.
Custom Software & Platform Engineering is delivered entirely through Katalyst Custom™, KitelyTech's fully engineered, validated build process. There's no fixed-scope Launchpad equivalent here; the Launchpad fast-track applies specifically to AI tool configuration, not ground-up application development.
Their team’s great and coaches us through the projects. Most of the hiccups are on our end. They’ve been patient and professional the whole time.
In terms of project management, I thought they did a fantastic job. There were several times when we reached out with a wide range of requests or questions, and they got back to us with answers pretty quickly. The whole speed of the project was good.
They were exceptional. Their team communicated well, understood what we wanted, and listened attentively. More importantly, they met all deadlines and stayed within budget — it was money well spent.
KitelyTech was able to go above and beyond. I wanted changes to the product in the middle of development, which their team made while staying within my budget.
Their expertise, availability, and professionalism were most impressive.
Excellent management and project creation.
I made it clear that we needed this project done in six weeks and they were able to accomplish it in five.
Their professionalism and sheer knowledge is reason alone to work with them. This company is definitely on the top of my referral list!
The team at Kitley became engaged immediately. The level of communication was excellent at every stage. They laid out exactly what they intended to do and explained to our team exactly the manner in which the task was to be executed.
I was impressed with their ability to listen and interpret the highly technical nature of our device.
Custom streaming platform across web, mobile, and TV

A comedy club operating live venues and producing original specials had ten years of recorded performances and no platform of its own. Distribution meant other companies' platforms and other companies' subscriber relationships, with no way to point a camera at its own stage and put the feed in front of its own audience.
A custom subscription streaming service spans a responsive website, mobile apps, and Apple TV and Android TV. Members browse specials by format, from five-minute sets to half-hour specials, plus podcasts and a ten-year archive that older releases rotate into. Search works by comedian, category, title, and tag. Favorites drive recommendations. Free and paid tiers run on integrated recurring billing. A live section lets a subscriber pick a club location and watch the show happening on that stage. Behind it all, an admin CMS handles mass video upload, so the producer runs its own catalog.
Custom operational platform, bid to invoice

A contractor running drywall and paint as two production businesses under one roof, across three markets. The trades share customers and crews and almost nothing else: different takeoffs, different material math, different labor rates, different crew pay. Commercial construction software handled the general case, and the specifics that decide whether a job makes money sat outside it.
A platform that follows a job from the first number quoted to the last invoice paid. Bid sheets built separately for each trade, with square footage calculations by sheet type and floor, material takeoffs by vendor, and labor priced with burden. A won bid converts to a stock sheet with nothing re-entered. Job and lot detail, stock and labor costing, scheme assignment, and billing splits tracked against each invoice. Repairs raised against the job, assigned, scheduled with reason codes, and invoiced or absorbed under warranty. Underneath it, more than twenty master data categories, with material, labor, and pricing defaults set at the city level, so each market prices against its own numbers across three versions of the software. Seventy-one reports ship with the platform, each a defined stored procedure rather than an export someone cleans up by hand. Five roles are controlled at page and field level, so superintendents see production detail in the field with monetary fields hidden.
Cloud construction management platform with AI blueprint takeoff

A contractor specializing in high-end residential and multi-year commercial multi-dwelling projects ran blueprint takeoff, bidding, billing, inventory, project costing, and progress management out of a legacy Microsoft Access database. One aging file carrying the whole operation, manual takeoff counts in a code-heavy environment where an error surfaces at inspection rather than at bid, change orders processed late, and no real-time view of whether a job was profitable while it was still running.
A cloud construction management platform that replaced the legacy system while preserving every workflow that worked. Blueprints, bids, billing, inventory, and project data centralized in a secure cloud environment with automatic backups. AI-assisted blueprint takeoff detects outlets, recesses, loads, and home-runs with code compliance checks, under human review rather than in place of it. Change order capture and monetization automated so revisions stop escaping the billing cycle. Real-time dashboards for profitability, inventory, and job status. An iPad app for field updates and Microsoft Teams for office-to-field collaboration, with deep QuickBooks integration for financial syncing and full auditability throughout.
