Last updated: September 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how KitelyTech, Inc. (“KitelyTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you visit kitelytech.com (the “Site”). KitelyTech is a Michigan corporation with its principal office at 2211 S. Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302-7619. This Policy applies to information collected through the Site. It does not apply to information we collect offline, through direct engagements with clients under separate agreements, or through any other channel that has its own privacy terms.

Information we collect

Information you provide to us

When you submit our Contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide, which includes your name, email address, phone number, the nature of your interest (for example, whether you are a prospective client or a prospective vendor or partner), how you heard about us, and any information you include in your message describing your project or inquiry. If you email us directly, we receive the information contained in your message.

Information we collect automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our analytics provider automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with the Site, but only after you consent to non-essential cookies. This information includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, the pages you view, the links you click, the referring website, and general location inferred from your IP address (such as city or region). We collect this information through cookies and similar technologies, described in our Cookie Policy. Certain limited information, such as server log data and information necessary to secure our forms, is collected as a strictly necessary function of operating the Site.

Our analytics provider uses your IP address to derive approximate location and does not store your full IP address as part of its analytics reporting.

Information from other sources

We may use a customer relationship management or similar service provider to receive, store, and manage the inquiries you submit. Any such provider processes information on our behalf and only to provide services to us. We do not purchase personal information about you, and we do not use third-party services to append or enrich the information you provide with data from outside sources.

Categories of Personal Information

For transparency, and consistent with how privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act describe personal information, the categories of personal information we may collect through the Site are:

  • Identifiers, such as your name, email address, phone number, and IP address.
  • Internet or electronic network activity, such as your interactions with the Site, the pages you view, and the links you click.
  • Geolocation data, meaning the general location (such as city or region) inferred from your IP address.
  • Professional or employment-related information and commercial information, such as your company, your role, whether you are a prospective client or vendor or partner, and the details of the project or inquiry you describe.

We collect these categories from you directly and automatically as described above, and we use and disclose them for the purposes described in this Policy. We disclose identifiers and internet activity information to the service providers that operate the Site, as described below. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about your request; to evaluate and pursue potential engagements, partnerships, or vendor relationships; to operate, maintain, and improve the Site; to understand how visitors use the Site through analytics; to protect the security and integrity of the Site and our forms, including preventing spam and abuse; and to comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements. If you contact us about a prospective engagement, we may use your information to follow up with you about KitelyTech services. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time as described below.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site and, with your consent, to understand how visitors use it. Non-essential cookies, including analytics cookies, are not set until you accept them. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies when you first visit the Site and can change your choice at any time using the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals. For a full description of the cookies we use and your choices, see our Cookie Policy.

How We Disclose Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers

We use trusted service providers to operate the Site and our business, including our website hosting provider (Webflow), our analytics provider (Google), and the provider of the security tool that protects our forms (Google reCAPTCHA). These providers process information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only to provide services to us.

Legal and protective disclosures

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others, or to investigate fraud or respond to a government request.

Business transfers

If KitelyTech is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the commitments in this Policy.

We do not otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for their own purposes.

Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable state privacy laws, which can include the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request that we correct or delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or of targeted advertising. As described above, we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

To make a request, contact us at info@kitelytech.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Before fulfilling certain requests, we may need to verify your identity, which may involve confirming information you have provided to us.

Data Retention

We retain the information you provide for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to your inquiry, to pursue or maintain a potential business relationship, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping needs. When we no longer need your information, we delete it or de-identify it. Analytics information is retained in accordance with our analytics provider's retention settings.

Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. The Site is served over an encrypted connection, and form submissions are transmitted securely. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@kitelytech.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not operate or control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the Policy, and if the changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice as appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
