Data engineering: real-time sales & inventory reporting architecture
Sales and inventory data lived in more than seventy places: internal systems, dealer feeds, supplier reports, logistics providers. Any question that crossed two of them took days, and by the time you had an answer, it was already wrong.
A data engineering engagement. KitelyTech engineered a new data architecture across the manufacturer's existing systems, unifying more than seventy internal and external sources. Seventy sources meant seventy definitions of the same field, so the work was as much schema mapping and conflict resolution as pipeline construction. Sales, inventory, wholesale analysis, supply chain logistics, and dealer transit time now read from one live view.

Legacy database remediation
The database generated duplicate records, and complex record requirements made them hard to catch: the same subscriber could exist under various names, addresses, or identifiers without any two rows matching exactly. Finance saw the consequences first, in subscriber counts that would not reconcile and invoicing that didn't match reality.
Custom logic and technical rules built into the database itself that uniquely identify potential duplicates rather than relying on exact matches, eliminate the existing ones, and stop new duplicates from being generated. Cleaning the records without fixing what generated them would have brought the problem back within a year, so both halves shipped together. Financial reporting reconciles because the records underneath it finally match.

Citation counts are academic currency, and the university's data on them was unreliable enough to matter.
A custom citation tracking solution built on Azure API Management and online research repositories, keeping citation data accurate against the sources rather than reconciled after the fact.

Motor output optimization platform
A leading maker of electronic speed controllers, battery eliminator circuits, and motors for land, air, and sea RC vehicles was losing engineering time to hardware service issues, and the worst of them was bricking: a failed configuration could turn a customer's motor into a paperweight.
One platform to connect and configure the full product line, running on iOS, Android, macOS, and PC, built to eliminate bricking and the service costs behind it. Consistency became a property of the platform, and the engineering team got its time back for new products.
